Objectives

  • Increase the participants’ knowledge to better perform and/or interpret MSK ultrasound examinations.
  • Identify normal hand/wrist anatomy with MSK ultrasound imaging.
  • Demonstrate scanning protocols for performing hand/wrist ultrasound examinations.
  • Increase confidence to incorporate protocols, techniques & interpretation criteria to improve diagnostic/treatment accuracy.

Audience

Physicians, PA’s, sonographers and other medical professionals who will be involved with performing and/or interpreting diagnostic MSK ultrasound examinations. Physicians may include (but is not limited to) radiology, sports medicine, orthopedics, PM & R, Rheumatology, Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and emergency medicine
