Overview

Growing recognition of the unique needs of women patients and women health care providers
has created an increasing demand for innovative and practical education in women’s health.
Clinical decision-making is becoming more complex across ambulatory settings and telemedicine,
requiring up-to-date, evidence-based strategies.

This program delivers a comprehensive update on common yet controversial issues in women’s
health, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, reproductive health, and modern approaches
to diagnosing and treating gynecologic and medical conditions affecting women.

Special attention is given to health disparities, care of vulnerable populations, and
interdisciplinary collaboration. Interactive questions, discussion periods, and expert-led
sessions enhance learning and clinical application.

Presented by the Division of General Internal Medicine in close collaboration with the
Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at
University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Target Audience

This course is designed for family physicians, internists, gynecologists, nurses, nurse
practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and all healthcare professionals involved
in delivering high-quality care for women.
