Course Overview
Recent developments in cataract management—such as IOL technology and femtosecond laser cataract surgery—have transformed clinical practice. Participants will also gain insights into corneal diseases (dry eye, keratoplasty, collagen cross-linking), glaucoma and MIGS devices, and retinal disorders including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusions.
Special attention will be given to the evolving role of optical coherence tomography (OCT) and other imaging tools in understanding anterior and posterior segment anatomy. This course also addresses recurring requests for live demonstrations of the latest surgical techniques and updates on practice management and legislative issues.
