About This CME Teaching Activity
This seminar is designed to provide a practical review of gastrointestinal, genitourinary, hematopathology. Faculty will discuss basic to advanced techniques, pitfalls and pearls to pathologic diagnosis. Interactive case reviews emphasizing the material presented will round out the program.

Educational Objectives

At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:

  • Recognize mimickers of prostate cancer.
  • Review intraductal lesions of the prostate.
  • Better understand updated prostate cancer grading.
  • Review unusual GU entities via case presentations.
  • Achieve a better understanding of clonal hematopoiesis (aka CHIP) and myelodysplasia.
  • Review and better understand morphology in 2022.
  • Better understand therapy-related myeloid neoplasms.
  • Apply strategies for 2022 to myeloproliferative neoplasms.
  • Review challenging blood and bone marrow cases in children and adults.
  • Better understand liver tumor pathology diagnosis.
  • Utilize molecular testing to diagnose liver and GI pathology.
  • Review commonly seen liver biopsy patterns and management.
  • Review the work up for unknown tumors in the liver.
  • Describe GI/liver diagnoses you don’t want to miss.
  • Apply a toolbox to routine medical GI biopsies.
